Master data (class) attribute

Master data (class) attribute: The characteristics that describe an item of master data, such as the name, form of incorporation and address of a supplier. Companies must determine which attributes of a master data class should be managed by central master data management and which should remain under the local responsibility of the organizational units. This will be oriented on the company-wide use of the attribute as well as a cost-benefit estimate.
